Apple iPhone Bluetooth Headset

 bluetoothiphone.jpg

The Bluetooth headset is the first of Apple’s slated accessories to hit stores for the iPhone.

Pros:

Cons:

The retail cost of this headset is $129. Consider it rather expensive, though you have to realize your using the most expensive phone out there. It does include an iPhone dual dock that charges both the headset and the iPhone, and a separate USB docking cable that can be used to charge both from a single USB when traveling.

iPhone: a cool gadget or a hot gadget ?

In the northern hemisphere, summer season is started. The beaches around the mediteranean coast are crowded with beautiful people trying to keep cool in the water. It looks like this tanned hot beauty is cooling herself with her iPhone. Anyways, I just want to share this nice picture with you, I found accidentally on the net ;)

Poster: Apple Products 1976-2007

Picture_16
At the risk of echoing the July 4, 1776 diary entry of King George III, nothing important seems to have happened to Apple (AAPL) yet today. Rather than go silent, I’m offering this: a link to designer Edwin Tofslie’s map of the world of Apple, from 1976 to 2007, suitable for printing as a poster and Scotch-taping inside your locker door. It’s also a useful reference if you’re looking for a product that’s fallen off the virtual shelves at the Apple store. Get it here. For specs on those old machines, get MacTracker’s downloadable app here (free; donations accepted).

Tofslie is a commercial designer and art director based in Hood River, Ore.. You can see samples of his eclectic work here.

Thanks for tuaw.org for the links.

ADDENDUM: Peter Mortensen at Wired’s Cult of Mac has arranged the same body of information along strategic lines to yield something that looks more like a family tree. It’s available here as a pdf  and here as an editable Powerpoint file. Thanks, Pete, for the links.
