iPHUC is probably the best program out there to connect to your iPhone and perform necessary tasks. Below you can download the latest version, v0.6.1 of iPHUC (don’t try pronouncing that).

More fuel for European iPhone carrier rumours fire: sources say that Apple and Vodafone are about to announce that they will be launching the coveted device in Europe soon. However, they’re supposedly ironing out some last issues.
According to the sources, Vodafone has a lengthy list of bugs and things they want improved before offering the device to consumers. The list includes such things as compatibility with Microsoft Exchange, currently missing cut and paste feature, improved Youtube search functionality, and several security issues.
Gartner Inc. analyst Ken Dulaney said “We have heard Vodafone, O2, and T-Mobile,” although “[we’re] not sure if Vodafone will cut the deal that AT&T cut.” “We don’t think they want to give up that much control,” he elaborated.
If the sources are to be believed, it could mean that the recent Carphone Warehouse iPhone preorders page mishap was indeed an unintentional leak, and the prices that were indicated there could be real (£99.99 = USD $198, with a 12 month contract at £35 a month = USD $70.)

Some pictures showing a “fully unlocked” iPhone being sold in Hong Kong have surfaced online. According to NewLaunches for a fee the shop can load up the Chinese or Japanese interface and special fonts so the names of Chinese songs appear correctly. The unlocking supposedly uses the Turbo SIM method. Here is a video of the unlocked phone in action (it doesn’t prove anything to me).
