Briefly: AT&T switching to simple paper billing

If you haven't already switched to AT&T online billing, you may no longer need to. According to a text message sent from AT&T, seemingly sent out to all iPhone customers, fully detailed paper bills will no longer be sent out. Instead, customers will now receive condensed summary bills instead. AT&T will continue to offer detailed billing on their website and for those who request it (for a $1.99 charge). The message reads: "AT&T free msg: We are simplifying your paper bill, removing itemized detail. To view all detail go to att.com/mywireless. Still need full paper bill? call 611." This confirms our earlier report.

Apple's AppleCare protection program is great for defects, but accidental damages aren't covered.
