Silicon Alley Insider reports that Apple might not be introducing the Beatles on iTunes as many suspected, but instead may take the opportunity to introduce iPhone ringtones to the store. They claim to have a "well-informed source" who supplied the information.

The companies which have claimed to have developed the first software-only hack to unlock the iPhone seem to be falling over each other to be in the news. As earlier today iphoneunlocking.com had released a video to confirm that their software unlocking method does exist. iphonesimfree.com the other company whose software method was tested successfully by Ryan Block from Engadget has just published an FAQ on their website in which they have mentioned that they are hoping to release the iPhone hack in the next 48-72 hours.

There are several cars on today's market that boast iPod integration, and a few that have already announced such compatibility with the iPhone, but now rumors have surfaced that Apple may in fact be planning to enter this arena as well. They've given us the iMac, iPod and the iPhone already, and now German magazine Capital is reporting (google translation) that talks between Apple and Volkswagen are in an early stage for a so-called "iCar".
