As promised yesterday by Steve Jobs, Apple rolled out the new version of iTunes. iTunes v7.4 now features support for custom iPhone ringtones @ $0,99 a piece — although the service was not activated as of yet, so you will need to wait to be able to use this feature.
The other new features are ability to download music from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store on your iPod touch or iPhone, and Starbucks WiFi iTunes downloads (for which we’ve announced a special challenge for the underground iPhone programmers community).
The new iTunes v7.4 options are expected to be activated by the end of the week, or early next week, as stated by Mr Jobs in yesterday’s Apple keynote speech.
At the same time it’s expected that a new iTunes section with Apple iPhone games will be launched soon, possibly after iPhone’s European launch. Stay tuned for more news on this topic.
Direct downloads (or use the update feature if you have iTunes installed already):

A rather curious thing was noticed by one of our staff members — the luxury watches manufacturer Timex, states on its website that the iControl line of watches is iPhone compatible (although in airplane mode).
This feature is even installed on some of the least expensive Timex models that retail for $99,99. For example the Ironman Sleek iControl costs only $125, and at the same time with it you’ll be able to control your iPhone music directly from your Timex watch.
After Audi and BMW that’s yet another good partner choice for Apple’s iPhone.

Yep, you got to hand it to Mr Jobs.
No other major manufacturer in recent history has done this.
A $100 store credit is not the same as cash, but better than anyone else would have done.
Having purchased technology often considered bleeding edge, I too have a little "buyer's remorse" as prices dropped or the edge moved faster than I anticipated.
I did however enjoy and benefit from the use of these products and that more than offset the inevitable price drop and technology advancement.
Now both early adoptors and frugal buyers win.
Thanks Mr Jobs.
P.S. If you used a credit card with a price protection option, you may be able to get the full $200 cash, American money. SV
