Google Calendar For iPhone, Hahlo Updated to v2.0

Google has put out an iPhone-friendly version of their Google Calendar, allowing you to add, view, but not edit or delete events from your phone. Now you can add and view events (although not add or delete) right from your iPhone. There is another way to do that, of course, and that's to sync GCalender to the Calendar, but the iPhone interface for GCal is easy to use, and quite fast.

Unlocked iPhone Warranty voiding

Hacking can be a risky business. SV

Saying it had found that many of the unlocking programs "cause irreparable damage to the iPhone's software," Apple spelled out the policy. "Users who make unauthorized modifications to the software on their iPhone violate their iPhone software license agreement and void their warranty," the company said in a statement. "The permanent inability to use an iPhone due to installing software is not covered under the iPhone's warranty."

Briefly: Re-Locking Your iPhone

iPhone hacker extraordinaire, Mrs Erica Sadun has posted a rudimentary guide to re-locking your iPhone. This guide was created is in response to recent news that the next firmware update may leave your iPhone irreparable if it has been unlocked. The guide currently requires quite a bit of command-line work which may deter quite a few people. Erica has stated that the instructions will be updated over time to incorporate inaccuracies and other various tweaks.
