22Moo recently announced a plethora of new iPhone and iPod accessories, dealing with futuristic-inspired eye-wear and video glasses.
First:
The Argo MP/3G-2 which is a newly designed compact display, like the Cinema 2, but more Star-Trek looking, while being cheaper. The Argo shows a slightly smaller (albeit still a good size) viewing size of 35″ at 6 feet away. It has a resolution of 0.3 Megapixels, which equates to 320 x 240 @ 230,000 pixels QVGA. It also supports the same Plug’N'Play like the Cinema 2, featuring the ability to plug into any console, gadget or computer with a VGA or AV output. The Argo MP/3G-2 retails for $199 USD, and is the cheapest version of the five items here.

The Argo Cinema 2, a neat optical gadget that forms around your eyes/head, allows you to watch movies with the image quality of viewing a 48″ TV screen at 6 feet away. Ontop of that, it comes with a portable DVD player that works specifically for the AC2, as well as has Dolby Surround Sound. The glasses, while comfort-aimed, are also usable with any device that has an AV or VGA output, like game consoles, laptops, or the iPod Video and Microsoft Zune. The AC2 retails for approximately $549 USD.

Onward to the Eyeshot F320B, which is a light weight version to provide better theater experiences of the same, allowing you the visual clarity of an OLED 37″ screen, at 2 meters away. The Eyeshot F320B retails at $299 USD.
The SPV992 is considered the most sleek and sexy of the items in this list, featuring the look of a high-tech-looking pair of sunglasses. It provides a 48″ screen, like the Cinema 2, and comes with a light-blocker to further immense yourself. The SPV992 retails for $350 USD.

Lastly, the powerhouse and therefor most expensive of the eyewear, the Eyeshot Occulon F1440B. The Occulon provides not one, but two, high SVGA resolution OLED MicroDisplays for you to multitask with. All video is shown in more than 16.7 million colors and it makes use of specially developed optics to improve quality. It features individual eye adjustments to make video specifically clear for you, and if you though 48″ might be enough for some people…think again. The Occulon provides a whopping 80″ virtual screen at 6 feet away. It supports surround sound like all of the other systems, as well as Plug’N'Play with all AV and VGA outputs. The Occulon retails at $750 USD.

These systems have a variety of uses, from watching movies, to using them on remote-controlled spy planes, to playing video games. It’s amazing technology, to say the least!

Goldstriker, the premier business in adding bling to your gadgets, is now doing iPhones.
If for some reason you’d ever want to plate yours with gold, Goldstriker will be happy to add 24ct gold plating around your phone. Apparently they’ll touch everything but your touch screen. For those interested, the price is yet to be announced, but will be running from mid October onwards.

One will be able to choose between purchasing a custom modded 24ct gold encrusted Apple iPhone, or shipping an existing handset to be modified.

As rousing a success as the iPhone has been, Apple’s already looking at iPhone v2, and bringing a new chip into the ring. Increasing the iPhone’s processing power can only be good.
Which kind is it, you ask? Intel is developing a ‘Moorestown MID’ chip, that seems to bring great performance into touch-screen enabled devices. Although this is only a rumor right now, it’s highly likely, due to the two companies’ previous relationships in the past (essentially the more recent Apple Macs running on Intel chips).

If MID type chips come out in such a device, it will surely change the way it’s been viewed in the marketplace. You can only imagine what iPhone 2.0 would bring to the handset world, as well. Perhaps it will make coffee? I hope so.
