Conceited Software has just released a new version of the firmware version 1.1.2 jailbreak. Now including Activation and YouTube for iPhones, PPC support, and an automatic fix for SpringBoard crash problem on touches.
To perform the jailbreak, run the batch file on Windows which will bring up a java program giving you choices to install SSH, the administrator password, and then finally jailbreak. Full instructions for different firmware versions and updating to 1.1.2 the correct way for jailbreaking 1.1.2 are included in the readme file.

Google seems to be steam rolling the mobile computing space with mobile apps roll out. They have recently released an HTML version of Google Notebook optimized for mobile phones. Google Notebook is one of my favorite apps and it was great to hear about this. Access your notebooks on your iPhone by pointing the Safari browser to http://google.com/notebook/m. Thanks to iphon.fr, Kelkoo is preparing an iPhone version of their price comparison service. It would be available next week firstly in french (the dev team is in France - Grenoble) at http://m.kelkoo.fr

2/3 of the iPhone buyers in UK are new customers for O2, according to TimesOnline. Currently we haven’t real figures on the numbers of sales since the launch on Friday, but it’s sound to be a good deal for O2 so far.
