After the news yesterday that Vodafone had won a court injunction against Deutsch Telekom, the parent company of T-Mobile, against selling the iPhone tied to their network and with a 2 year contract, T-Mobile has announced that they plan to sell unlocked iPhone to German customers, however for a huge premium, it will set you back by around €999 ($1500) and a locked iPhone for €399. iPhone developer Pumpkin has found something very interesting in the iPhone's lcokdown daemon file (the file responsible for authorizing your iPhone services) that further suggests that Apple might be planning some form of iTunes movie rental system. Verizon launched their much awaited iPhone killer, the LG Voyager, today, but surprisingly it seems that it hasn't quite lived up to all the hype. TheStreet, PC Magazine, and MobileBurn have all gotten their hands on it, and all agree that it leaves a lot to be desired. It lacks a certain something that the iPhone had. Among those certain somethings are email support, computer syncing, a good browsing experience, ease of use and document creation.
