A German guy claims to have found a solution to unlockiPhone Firmware 1.1.2 OOTB without turbosim. As he shows in this Video, which appeared recently on youtube, he is willing to sell his solution. The video shows an US iPhone Firmware 1.1.2 OOTB without turbosim running not t-mobile but an other provider called e-plus. If this is real and he really managed to do an sim unlock on a iPhone Firmware 1.1.2 OTB without turbosim heĂâĂ´ll probaly earn a bunch of money. This could be real big business...
Update: Seems this was a fake. So the only solution to get the iPhone 1.1.2 OOTB running is to look for a Turbosim on ebay.
A new Chinese iPhone knockoff has surfaced for sale on the internet, described on the site as "High quality copy UNLOCKED IPHONE AV-P688 SIMILAR STYPLE IPOD GSM CELL PHONE WITH MP3 MP4 FUNCTIONĂ¢ââÂŹĂÂ. A Google search yielded several sites selling the device.
