EMI is to push Sigur Ros DVD using sites specifically designed for the iPhone and iPod Touch, which includes the full-length trailer of the Sigur Ros Heima documentary, which adapts its stream to the connection you have: a Wi-Fi or mobile network.
The site also uses Yahoo! Maps’ mash-up tool, allowing the viewers to navigate over a map of Iceland and see various locations where Sigur Ros performed in the film, as well as links to the iTunes Music Store.

The head of EMI Records, Eric Winbolt, praised iPhone as a device with an exceptional user experience. “With the release of the first truly converged mass market of technology to do so, we were very keen to use them to showcase our artists’ content and offer the consumer this unbeatable user experience” he said.

Today, Probability PLC’s (a company specializing in gambling on handheld devices) CEO, Charles Cohen, announced that his team cracked the iPhone to enable gambling on the device.
The solution is simple enough: use Server/Client approach, which doesn’t take any of the iPhone’s processing power. Probability managed to enable the Safari browser to play Blackjack. The next on their plans is roulette.
Anything more serious like shoot ‘em up games would require different approach, or more precisely use the on board processing power.

This technology won’t be licensed by Probability, since they plan to produce their own custom versions of major clients like Blue Square.
Here’s a video of how it works:

Are you in a desperate need for an iPhone stand to show off to your mates? You need only a $100 bill –which is most definately lying around in your house — and some creativity. Here is how you do it:
The design was invented by Swiss man Enrique Pardo. It also works with other, smaller bills like $1’s if you ran out of 100’s.
Now, what exactly would prompt you to make an iPhone stand out of $100 is beyond me, and even further is why someone would have thought this up. Though, there’s far worse things to do with $100, I’m sure.
