If you’re anything like this updater that usually listens to online radio stations like (warning: please don’t listen to these stations if you don’t want your head to explode!) 915thebeat.com and di.fm, the lack of online radio stations support on iPhone was probably irritating — until now.
A new third party program for the iPhone called MobileScrobbler (which obviously has to be installed via iPhone installer.app on a jailbreaked iPhone) allows iPhone and iPod Touch owners to tune their device onto Last.fm’s digital radio waves.

iPhone MobileScrobbler can stream Last.fm radio streams over wifi and EDGE, and display artist biographies as your music plays. The playback screen displays the current track information, as well as an excerpt from the Last.fm wiki for the current artist. From here, you can mark songs as banned, loved, or skip to the next track. If you’re listening to a radio stream, you can also control the volume.

Swatches is the name of a new game designed by TableStar and MyNuMo that is now available for the Apple iPhone and Apple iPod Touch. This chat-capable multiplayer and singleplayer puzzle game utilizes perfectly the touch capabilities of these devices.
As Rob Carroll, Producer with TableStar says: “We designed Swatches especially to use the invocative touch screen on the iPhone in conjunction with the multiplayer capabilities of an online device.â€Â

The players are competing with each other or against artificial intelligence in controlling the largest blocks of colors. In the guest room players can create their own matches, give themselves custom names, and view who is currently in the game or wait to start a new one.
Players are able to chat in real-time with up to six players during the game and while waiting for their turn to start in the lobby.
William Volk, CEO of MyNuMo, said: “Our real-time chat function allows friends to play and interact, and lets players meet new friends with the game lobby and chat functionsâ€Â.
The game, currently in open beta, can be accessed at:
www.swatchesgame.com — it is actually also playable on Safari and Internet Explorer!

Meizu, a Chinese producer of electronics whose sole job seems to be producing iPhone and iPod Touch fakes, is apparently getting close to releasing its Apple ripoff Meizu MiniOne. Looks like the company has already got a prototype of the new handset, as some pictures of it were already leaked on the company’s forums.
The design features of the prototype model are said to be developed thanks to the feedback from the early M8 model shots. It looks slightly different from the previously available photos, and that’s what makes it less similar to an iPhone and more similar to the iPod Touch as well.

But most likely not many people will be able to get their hands on a Meizu M8/Minione, as due to obvious violation of Apple’s copyright it is expected to be available only on the Chinese market.
Furthermore, according to the source of these shots the company expects to launch a successor to the Meizu Minione/M8 in 2009, appropriately codenamed Meizu M9.

That's a pretty darn expensive digital picture frame. And his tip is pretty simple-- all he suggests is to turn off the AutoLock feature on the iPhone, thus leaving the screen on to display a slideshow.
