Briefly: iTunes Rentals To Last 24 Hours?

Talk of the movie download service in iTunes really gets around. The New York Times claimed to have found out from inside sources that multiple studios would be announced at the Macworld 2008 keynote. Now, Variety claims that sources of their own who say rentals will cost between $2 and $5 for a 24 hour period.

Here's a video of the iPhone Firmware 1.1.3. Update: It is very real, according to Natetrue and the evidence he has provided to us. Knowing that the mighty Natetrue has recorded it and the details he has shared with us, we are inclined to think that the new 1.1.3 leak is very real indeed.

iPhone Update 1.1.3 Confirmed Authentic, Video

Gizmodo has posted a video showing some of the alleged 1.1.3 features in action, and the video has been claimed authentic. Natetrue (from iBrickr) supplied Gizmodo with the video, and also gave them quite a bit of new information. According to Nate, the update breaks AnySIM, and AnySIM can not be reinstalled after the update has taken effect. All installed apps are removed, and the current method for jailbreaking has been patched.
