mStation to Debut 2008 Product Lineup at CES

Today mStation revealed it’s full line up of 2008 Morphie products for the iPod and iPhone. mStation’s previous line of products were designed for the iPod video 30gb & 80gb, 2nd gen iPod nano’s, and the 2nd gen iPod shuffles. In 2008 mStation is releasing an entire new line of products, from cases to stereo systems for all of Apple’s new iPod/iPhone models.

Orange in France is successful

Orange has announced that they sold 70,000 iPhones in only 1 month, despite high prices on the call plans. The iPhone’s customers are for 48% of them new customers.

American Film Institute chooses the launch of the iPhone as one of its “Moments of Significance” for 2007

On Thursday 13-member jury of the American Film Institute, consisting of film scholars, artists and critics - announced seven events deserving to be named the “Moments of Significance” for 2007. American Film Institute is a national organization dedicated to education, preservation and celebration of American film. The group, known for its “top 100 movies” lists, and awards of 10 films and television shows each year.

The launch of the iPhone is taking the third place after the strike of the Writers Guild of America against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers and the death of Bergmann and Antonioni.

According to AFI the iPhone is a symbol of the exploding on-demand culture. The statement on AFI’s site further reads: “Overnight, the iPhone became a symbol of a public that demands its content where they want it and when they want it“.

AFI AWARDS luncheon is planned for January 11, 2008.
