Coming from Erica Sadun’s website, a new app featuring the ability to recognize music you play for the iPhone and afterwards providing information such as artist, cover, album name, and so on.
The fact you can get your iPhone to do so is actually quite astounding, but the program itself is considered beta in every way possible. Many people can’t get it to work correctly, and it restarts their iPhone. You can download the Listen beta here. Miss Sadun’s website inquires people to report back on what kind of luck you have with the program, and also says that if you don’t get any feedback within 30 seconds of activating the program next to some music, to quit and restart the program.

Aigo has debuted a new MID (mobile internet device) at CES 2008, that looks alot like a white PSP, with a pull-out keyboard. Features include a Menlow Intel processor, a touchscreen-enhanced version of Mozilla Firefox, called Coolfox, as well as a seemingly ripped off version of the iPhone’s interface. If you’re a Linux user, you may be happy to know that the device also uses Linux as its main OS.

This is coming from a company that has made several cameras and MP3 players in the past. You can check out Aigo’s website here. The release date among other information (such as a confirmed name) have not been released yet.
