Yahoo! recently released oneConnect, their new social networking app for mobile devices, including the iPhone and iPod touch. It serves as a sort of address book that integrates the ability to communicate with people through several social networks, including Bebo, Flickr, MySpace, Dopplr, Friendster, Twitter, Facebook, hi5, and YouTube, all from one app.

The HTC Opal appears to offer quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support, in addition to built-in WiFi for fast data speeds. The 2 megapixel camera should be able to capture decent photos, and its microSD card slot should offer plenty of storage.

Apple released the MobileMe control Panel 1.1 for Windows. The control panel is required for MobileMe users running Windows in order to enable sync with the computer. It also gives simple control over MobileMe iDisk for storing and sharing information with your online Me.com account. The update requires Windows XP or Vista, iTunes 8.0, and a MobileMe account. The new MobileMe Control Panel can be downloaded from Apple's site.
