CEDIA 2007 - Use your iPod Touch WiFi while in your car with WAAVs AirBox
WAAV is the first company to provide broadband in your vehicle via their new AirBox cellular router line. The devices run primarily off of Sprint’s vast data network and offer up 3G broadband speeds through the WiFi hotspot or through possible wired connections.

So first you have to have an account with a cellular provider, like I said, they link to Sprint on their site, and you have to have a data plan with them. Past that you need either the WAAV AirBox, there are currently two models the CM3 and the X2.
