Cinema Times for the iPhone (Not as basic as it sounds!)

If renting movies on your iPhone isn’t enough, but you prefer going out to a big theater with some friends, and getting price-gouged by buttered popcorn, then Cinema Times should give you just one more thing you can check easily on your iPhone.

All you do is load up the web app (available here) and type in your location (It works in both Europe and the U.S.) - soon after, it will show you local theaters, movies playing, and play times.

Additionally, there’s a small box you can use, while browsing a particular theater, that will show the location of that theater on Google Maps, as well as the phone number of the selected theater (which appears as a button, enabling the ability to easily call the theater for a particular reason). Lastly, you get a link to a trailer of any video you look up on that cinema’s listing, which takes you to Apple’s own trailers site, utilizing Quicktime automatically.

A welcome inclusion for any iPhone wielding movie-lover, much like the iTunes rentals, Cinema Times brings ease-of-use and many features, for free, which is always great. Here’s another link to Cinema Times.
