Wang Jianzhou, CEO China MobileIf you’ve been following the verbal sparring between Apple and China Mobile’s vocal CEO Wang Jianzhou, PhoneMag has an incredibly detailed analysis of the current battle for what could potentially be the iPhone’s biggest market.

iPhone EDGE vs Nokia E61i 3G Shootout

While the iPhone’s EDGE capabilities appear to be slow, it’s rendering of web pages makes up for difference in speed between EDGE and 3G. Here is a video of the iPhone on EDGE, and a Nokia E61i on 3G. You can clearly see that both of their loading bars end at around the same time, with the iPhone finishing before the E61i loading eBay. If the iPhone had 3G, it would blow all other 3G devices away in website loading times.

iPhone Eurotripping across the continent

It appears we might have an idea where the next stop on the iPhone Europe train might be. It started in the UK then traveled to Germany and France. Two more companies are vying for a spot on the list of carriers, Telenor and TeliaSonera.

The next stop could lead Mr. Jobs to the Nordic region. There are two companies, I don’t know if they are quite in competition as I understand it that the two combined cover the whole Nordic region, but they don’t overlap too much.
