Folks, Welcome to the New Year!!! We have already seen that in the last six months since the iPhone launch, there have been tons of cool iPhone hacks, native iPhone Applications developed by iPhone hacking geniuses. I guess it is safe to say that 2008 will be even more exciting. We start of the year with an interesting native iPhone application developed by Makayama. The native iPhone application is called CameraPro and as the name suggests it adds professional camera features for your iPhone.

If the news that the Modbook is shipping fills you with little more than sorrow that your savings don’t amount to the $2,290 required to get one into your grubby, artistic hands, then how about DIY surgery on your current MacBook to add in some Wacom-powered touchscreen joy. Over at Instructables there’s a guide for doing just that, with an Apple G4 that has seen better days integrated with a Wacom USB tablet via some tape and software tweaking.

One of the most exciting news on the gaming front since the iPhone launch was to see stepwhite, an iPhone hacking guru get DOOM running on the iPhone. psychochromatic, an iPhone hacking genius and a friend of stepwhite has picked up from where stepwhite had left by taking control of the project and he has recently released a new version of Doom with on-screen touch controls.

The SMS application in the iPhone is quite basic in functionality. If you are a heavy user of SMS then one of the features you would probably be missing would be the ability to send SMS to multiple recipients. Not anymore as there is good news for you, as iPhone hacker Shawn Chain has released a native iPhone application called iSMS which will let you just that and lots more.
