One of the complaints of the iPhone has surprisingly been iPhone’s low ringer volume. It seems to be well below the standard, in terms of volume, established by other mobile handsets. Most of the users have blamed iPhone’s tiny speakers to be the culprit of this problem. However I had reported that the culprit in fact could be the audio itself and not the speaker and you could use a hack to fix this problem.

iPhone hacker, Tommy Svensson has released a native MMS application for the iPhone, thus addressing one of the major lack of functionality of the iPhone. Once installed the unauthorized native iPhone application will allow you to send MMS messages via your iPhone. You cannot receive MMS messages on your iPhone using this application, however the iPhone hacker is working hard to address this in future releases.

So far we have seen a couple of ways to JailBreak iPhone firmware v1.1.2, however the process has been somewhat complicated. Folks at iPhone Atlas have posted a method, which they claim is somewhat easier to JailBreak iPhone firmware v1.1.2 which will work on Windows and Mac thanks to the work carried out by the iPhone Elite dev team. The process apparently also does not require any third-party utilities other than what is included in the package from Conceited Software.
