With The Missing Sync for iPhone, they can easily transfer all important data from calendar, contacts, photos and more from their old BlackBerry, Palm OS or Window Mobile smartphone to your iPhone.

This software allows also to archive SMS messages from an iPhone to Mac PC, archive call logs and notes. Thanks to this software iPhone users can also create a sortable, searchable SMS archive and organize notes into categories.
You can download The Missing Sync for iPhone from Mark/Space web site at the price of $39.95. The crossgrades from qualifying Mark/Space software cost $24.95.

Only a few weeks ago we’ve reported that PSX4iPhone, a Playstation 1 emulator for the iPhone, is being developed, and “might” be available soon.
The time sure flies fast, as now its coder, zodttd, who is also responsible for the iPhone Gameboy emulator, has released a public downloadable version of the PSX4iPhone program that should play “most” Playstation games.
According to its creator, the emulator: “has a good compatibility rate and features save states and a dynarec for added performance.”

Since Playstation 1 games are widely available online being “abandonware“, and iPhone allows for some excellent multitouch gaming functionality, one can only know where this underground emulators trend will lead…. Dreamcast games emulator, we’re hoping.
You can download PSX4iPhone as a manual installation below — you should know how to install it, otherwise don’t try to — while the program’s creator announces that “it should shortly be available via Installer.app“, so you might want to wait for that instead of experimenting with iPhone SSH. And of course, you can reach the creator’s page at http://zodttd.com and follow announcements on new developments, as this is still of course a project under development.

Ikanos Consulting is about to release a new third party program for Apple iPhone that makes it work like Microsoft Windows SideShow.
According to the company: “We’re very keen firm believers in SideShow and already had a few devices cooking up. The core of our SideShow world is a piece of Vista software that has been designed to interact with almost any external device (providing it has an external connection). As a test we decided to create the Windows Mobile renderer and due to popularity and dedication from our beta testers we have decided to release Go Gadgets for Windows Mobile next year!”

However, we decided that although a Windows Mobile SideShow device is cool (especially since it switches between USB/Bluetooth/WiFi/GPRS/3G) we wanted to put our Go Gadgets server to the test. Therefore I am announcing today the Go Gadgets renderer for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch!
By creating a new web-based renderer we are able to turn any device with a web-browser into a Windows SideShow device. And, thanks to the excellent web-based capabilities of the Safari browser on the device we can create a rich user-experience that rivals a native implementation. To add to the iPhone/iPod support we’ve designed the web-renderer in such a way that we will have the ability to use popular devices such as the Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, Sony PSP, Sony Playstation 3 and much much more.
We’re not yet ready to release a public beta but I have enclosed a few screenshots of the Glance renderer as it stands today. Although we’re not releasing Go Gadgets for iPhone we are however releasing our Beta 3 of Go Gadgets and Go Gadgets for Windows Mobile today. If you would like to sign up for any of our betas (iPhone/iPod or Windows Mobile) please send an email to beta_at_ikanosconsulting.com
You can visit the project page here.

For those that wanted advanced synchronization options for their iPhone: Nexthaus announced the release of their new beta SyncJe client software for the iPhone. It’s a rather intricate piece of software, but it also requires your iPhone to be jailbreaked and has to be downloaded via iPhone installer.app.
With Nexthaus’ SyncJe for iPhone, users can wirelessly synchronize data between their iPhone, computer(s) and email applications. SyncJe installs directly onto the iPhone, enabling centrally stored Personal Information Management (PIM) data to be exchanged, wirelessly.

Users can sync their contacts, calendars and notes free from any device cradles or wires and can also set an automatic synchronization scheduler. SyncJe is compatible with any SyncML server and comes with one year of maintenance and support.
The application will be available for download on Wednesday, December 26th, and for the first 14 days of availability, the client software will be free of charge to all new users. Thereafter, users can download SyncJe for iPhone at the suggested retail list price of US $39.99. SyncJe for iPhone is the latest addition to the Nexthaus product line joining earlier releases that include SyncJe clients for Blackberry, Outlook, Outlook Express, and Lotus Notes.
Colin Campbell, CEO of Hostopia commented, “SyncJe for iPhone offers experienced users the latest productivity features to enhance their iPhone experience. We believe that wireless synchronization of PIM data, across multiple devices and platforms, is becoming a standard user expectation, not only for iPhone, but for all mobility devices“.

It is fully tested and supported by Nexthaus, assuring users that the application operates to their full expectations. And like all Nexthaus applications, users receive 24/7 support, free of charge, for the first year.”
Use of this SyncJe product requires the ability to install third party applications on your iPhone using the Installer software. (IMPORTANT NOTE: Installing external applications on an iPhone may void one or more warranties and should only be performed by experienced, knowledgeable users. Nexthaus is not responsible for anything that happens to your iPhone as a result of this application i.e. proceed at your own risk.)
