Popular satirical website JibJab, released an annual “2007 year-in-review” animated video.
Of course, after Apple’s iPhone was mentioned by Time, Stuff, and PC World magazines, it was unavoidable for the “Jesus Phone” and Steve Jobs not to be included in this compilation of things that happened this year.

Blendtec, a company well known for its marketing gimmicks which consist of blending anything and everything with their blender, decided that now it’s the turn of the Apple iPhone to be blended (earlier an iPod underwent similar execution).
So what do you think happens when you put in your precious Apple iPhone into a Blendtec blender and hit the on button? Will it blend?

You can see the answer to this intriguing question for yourself in a Youtube video posted below.

More star-studded backing for the iPhone: This time, it’s the controversial Rosie O’Donnell, who loves using her Nextel phone, alongside her Apple iPhone.
One fun quirk to note, when asked about being stranded on an island with one gadget, she says: “I would bring my iPhone. You can do just about anythingâ€â€from e-mailing and surfing the net to listening to music, watching movies, and taking photos on it.” she said, in an interview with Switched.

After the iPhone was deemed the fastest rising (and still is) search term in 2007 for Google, the same search engine team brings us a report for the entire year, going through all of the billions of search queries that have happened.
In the end, surprise surprise, the iPhone is on top of every good one. That’d be: Fastest Rising (globally), and Fastest Rising (U.S.).

Popular search terms that were conquered, were among ‘Anna Nicole Smith’ (10th/10th in the U.S.), ‘badoo’ (2nd/10th globally), and ‘Youtube’ (6th/10th globally). But why has the iPhone conquered so many huge names and some of the most popular websites to date?
Well, you probably have one, so I don’t need to emphasize how cool it really is. Here’s exactly how it fared according to Google’s Zeitgeist, and how others simply died in comparison.
Thanks: Google

Introducing cheap(er) new bling for your Apple devices, by Metallo Design.
Part of its new Gilty Couture brand (I’d sure feel ‘gilty’ if I bought these too..), these new cases are metallic and come in either gold, silver, or simply crystal-coated. These additions to your iPhone are a tad cheaper than adding absolute, high quality gold, like Goldstriker does.

These style-upgrades run about $55 to $200 in terms of price, depending on which device (ranging from an iPod Nano, or Touch, to an iPhone) you pick, and the gold itself is about a 14ct quality, which encases each of the Swarovsky crystals.
You can check out these and other not-so-pricey Apple product re-designs on the Gilty Couture website.
