First Direct, a telephone and internet based commercial bank in the UK, confirmed today that its online banking services now fully support Safari browser. And not only you can access the bank website from Mac, but according to bank representative, it is offering a “seamless online experience for all its customers using an iPhone or an iPod Touch,”. Customers will benefit from the device’s touchscreen and fully-functional web browser.
This is a great move which acknowledges iPhone as a strong platform and popularizes the device even more.

However, according to Banks FAQ there are some issues still left for resolving. You still can’t print bank statements. But the bank is working hard to resolve this, and soon you should enjoy fully functional portal.

A pretty nifty new web application for the iPhone is WebChattr: WebChattr allows iPhone users to create their own personal chatrooms that any of your friends can be invited to join very easily — no registration is required.
The service is free, and one can create his own personal chat room by entering a web address similar to webchattr.com/go/anything_here (of course “anything_here” has to be substituted by literally anything you want in order for your chatroom’s address to be unique).

For more information consult WebChattr for iPhone website at www.webchattr.com.

If you have an iPhone and suspect that you might need a lawyer soon, LawFone comes to your rescue — if you live in the USA.
LawFone, developed by Law Practice One, is a service allowing licensed lawyers to register, and potential customers to find lawyers in their area, and of course it’s especially formatted to fit iPhone’s screen.
A proprietary, fully confidential case submission form allows consumers to submit their legal issues from their mobile device to member attorneys who, if interested in potentially taking the case, contact the consumer with contact information provided by LawFone staff.

Point your iPhone’s Safari browser to www.LawFone.com to access the service.
