A pretty nifty new web application for the iPhone is WebChattr: WebChattr allows iPhone users to create their own personal chatrooms that any of your friends can be invited to join very easily ― no registration is required.
The service is free, and one can create his own personal chat room by entering a web address similar to webchattr.com/go/anything_here (of course “anything_here” has to be substituted by literally anything you want in order for your chatroom’s address to be unique).
