Yet from CES 2008 news: FranklinCovey announced that PlanPlus Online is now accessible from your iPhone.
Developed jointly by FranklinCovey and COMPLETExRM, PlanPlus Online is a secure Web-based application that provides planning, sales management, customer relationship management (CRM), team collaboration and process management for small and medium-sized businesses via the Internet.
Its “planner-like†interface is based on FranklinCovey’s planning and time management methodology. The application offers team calendaring and scheduling and an integrated contact manager that easily tracks all important client information, sales opportunities and activities through a customizable sales process. Key features include:
* Sales management and customer relationship management (CRM)
* Team calendaring and scheduling
* Organizes daily tasks by utilizing the Quick Prioritize Module
* Task delegation and accountability reports
* Integrated contact manager
* Manages and tracks all client information and history, sales opportunities and activities through a customizable sales process integrated within daily planning tools
* FranklinCovey’s planning methods and concepts within familiar “planner-like†interface for easy daily or weekly planning (Daily Prioritized Task List, Contacts, Appointments, etc.)
* Weekly planning module for accomplishing and tracking key goals
* Utilizes custom fields for greater flexibility in tracking clients and other key data
* Powerful Search capability to quickly access contacts, notes, tasks and more
* A built-in e-mail center which converts e-mails to Tasks, Appointments, etc. as well as standard e-mail features and functionality
* Access to all information from any smartphone: iPhone, BlackBerry, Palm or Windows Mobile device
* Utilizes the strongest encryption available
PlanPlus Online was designed to maximize the user experience from any wireless feed, regardless of smartphone speed and without complicated synchronization or duplication. The format has been completely re-tooled for the smartphone screen. Users can also have their existing IMAP or POP3 email account delivered to their PlanPlus Online portal so they can send, receive and manage email within PlanPlus Online. FranklinCovey and COMPLETExRM are now in the process of updating the application so that users will soon have the ability to sync their Microsoft Outlook data to their mobile device.
The new mobile client support is free and available now for all current and new users of PlanPlus Online. To initiate the service, PlanPlus users can simply point their device’s browser to www.planplusonline.com/mobile and login.

Despite the iPhone being a not-so-thrifty doodad, Wesabe has designed software for managing your finances and spending habits, including bank and credit card accounts, via web access through your iPhone.
To access Wesabe iPhone Mobile, members simply point the web browser on
their iPhone to i.wesabe.com. Wesabe has a multitude of features, including:
View a single list of all their bank and credit card account balances
anytime they want
See any transactions that have posted to their accounts. Just as the
iPhone’s email application lets users view as many emails as they’d
like, the Wesabe website allows members to see as many transactions as they
want.
Enter cash purchases they’ve made while shopping
The Wesabe service utilizes SSL connections and authentication –
keeping member data safe and private yet readily available. Members’
account balances and transactions are encrypted — a level of protection
that SMS-based services do not offer.

Today at the CES 2008 Yahoo presented its new mobile version of homepage — currently in early beta. It’s been optimized and streamlined especially for users of several mobile phones, including the iPhone.
According to Yahoo the new mobile site incorporates elements from My Yahoo! and Yahoo’s front page while providing a personalized approach to users.
On the iPhone optimized page you can get updates on recent emails, Flickr photos, upcoming calendar appointments and status of Yahoo! Messenger contacts without moving away from the home screen or logging into a separate application.
You can customize content and links, while the experimental oneSearch search engine gives users the answer to their question instantly — it was recently upgraded to include Wikipedia and Yahoo! Answers, as well as airline flight status information.

Hotels.com on-line search and booking company has adopted its page to the needs of mobile Safari web-browser. Now iPhone and iPod Touch users can choose from traditional hotels to vacation rentals at more than 75,000 properties worldwide.
The web-surfers can: view photos, descriptions and amenities for more than 75,000 properties worldwide, check hotel availability, book accommodations, view existing hotel reservations, or contact hotels.com customer care for assistance.
Scott Booker, chief hotel expert for hotels.com, said: “We developed this robust travel tool with one goal in mind: to make it easy for millions of iPhone and iPod touch users to book hotels anywhere, at anytime.”
Safari browser users can find the page by typing hotels.com in their iPhone’s Safari browser, or by visiting www.apple.com/webapps/

Much like their Showtime app, their Search app features an intuitive interface for browsing your iPhone’s various lists and finding specific people, places, and times.
Unlike the iPhone’s default UI, the Search app can allow you to search for specific people on your contacts list by names, company, position, department, or any notes you have on them. Calling them up is as simple as hitting the ‘Dial’ button next to their name, afterward.
Another feature the iPhone lacked was the ability to search Calendar events. Search fixes that, too. Now you can browse Calendar appointments by summary, description, location, or other obvious tell-tales of what you wrote in.
Lastly, if you happened to be tired of the tedious searching through Calendar events, you can simply put in a date and jump directly to it, instead of loading up the appropriate app and going through the actual calendar.
If these features impress you at all, or you’re simply done with the tedium, please head over to Polar Bear Farms’ website and look into Search.
Another handy app by Polar Bear Farms is Showtime, which is another recording program, that’s usable by a couple button presses to start/stop audio and/or video recording easily. Unlike other programs, this one has a 6 Frames per Second capture rate and an unlimited capture amount (5 second limit on unregistered version) which converts into a raw, uncompressed fire format.
Showtime is also available (with video) on PBF’s website, opposite Search.
