If you have ever looked down at that sleek iPhone or iPod Touch in your pocket and thought “wow, this thing needs a stylus”, then Brightonnet’s new BI-IPEN might just be for you. As capacitive touch devices, the iPhone and iPod Touch can not use a stylus. They need to feel the small electric charge from your fingertip, which plastic or metal can not traditionally provide.
The BI-IPEN is solving that using a special type of conductive resin on the bottom of the pen. The device will allow you to touch and drag, but unless you are going to set the device down and use two of these bad boys, then no multi touch. It is available in both black and silver, but I could not find a price for the device, or if it is even shipping yet.

According to an article published on a German website, the manager of Intel in Germany has confirmed that Apple will be shipping a device that will sport their new Atom processor. We had seen the rumor for a tablet like device, that could supposedly be launched at WWDC. If this leak does turn out to be true, it definitely adds some credibility to the rumor.
As part of an Intel event for the 40th birthday of the semiconductor company at Munich’s BMW World, Germany managing director Hannes Schwaderer confirmed today what has long been a rumor on the Internet: namely, that there is an iPhone with Intel’s new Atom chip. The device is slightly larger than the current version, Schwaderer said. There you have it, a slightly larger device that will accommodate a larger screen. It is rumored that the device will have a 720×480 multi touch display. This matches the description in the rumor about Steve Jobs announcing such a device at WWDC this year, which kicks off on June 9th. We also expect to see the 3G iPhone during the conference as well.

Boasting a weight of 3 pounds, .76 -.16 inches in size from front to rear, a full size backlit keyboard, 13.3-inch display, mult-touch gestures for the trackpad, iSight built in, 1.6GHz (1.8Ghz optional) Core 2 Duo , 2GB RAM, 80GB HDD (64GB SSD Optional), 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, USB 2.0. Mini-DVI, and a 5+ hour battery life. The Macbook Air has no internal optical drive, but can “borrow” optical drives from other devices, or Apple has an optional USB optical drive for a respectable $99.
Apple also went more environmentally friendly by cutting packaging size down 56%, making circuit boards Bromide and PVC free, and taking mercury out of the displays.
