OS X ‘Screen Sharing’ channels Leopard to ASUS Eee
How about an ultraportable notebook with Mac OS X Leopard, great battery life and all for around $299? Well, not quite, but jkOnTheRun’s Kevin Tofel has been experimenting with ways to access his Mac system on the move via his latest toy: ASUS’ Eee. In case you’ve been out of touch for the past few months (or maybe have your permanent Mac-only filters set to ‘high’!) but the Eee is a Linux-powered super compact laptop intended for new users or people looking for a cheap second machine. Kevin has been playing with its ability to connect via VNC to OS X’s Screen Sharing - basically a cutesy way of describing VNC - hence this image of what looks like an Eee running Leopard.
