
Will little fuss or attention, Canadian iPhone carrier Rogers Wireless introduced a new $30 data+text value pack for the iPhone 3G. It includes 500MB of data per month, as well as 10,000 outbound texts, the standard Visual Voicemail, caller ID, and a WhoCalled text notification for missed calls. The rumor comes from forum posts, and hasn't been put on their website yet.

Now is a bad time to be one of the sales staff, assistant managers, and director-level employees within Canadian wireless carriers Rogers Wireless and Fido. Despite a 30% increase in sales, the Rogers finance department recently made the decision to cut sales commissions given to the people who were partly responsible for that increase by as much as 50%.

An anonymous source for iPhone Canada is claiming that Rogers Wireless is planning to revamp their highly-criticized data plans for the iPhone 3G on October 1st. It's no secret that most people in Canada think that the original plans offered by Rogers were pretty outdated and grossly overpriced. The source says that Rogers is planning to update their plans to include more daytime minutes, MY5, and an extra 600MB of data.

So if this ad is to be believed Canada could be getting the iPhone as early as December 7th. The alleged pre-order date is November the 20th so if you believe this ad you might want to start saving up.

Sure, the ad looks pretty convincing, but it’s a rumor because its nowhere to be found on Rogers site, and can only be found through various places where it appears to have been leaked. The ad says the iPhone will sell for $499.99 Canadian with a 3-year contract.
