Operators offer incentives to early iPhone buyers


Israel’s mobile operators are offering incentives for the first iPhone buyers at their points-of-sale that will open one minute after midnight on the night of Wednesday into Thursday.

The first customers arriving at Pelephone Communications Ltd. stand in the Ayalon Mall in Ramat Gan will receive a gift kit of Philips mobile speakers and anchor for the iPhone. Early customers will also receive a NIS 250 gift certificate for iPhone peripherals at stores of Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) franchisee iDigital Ltd.
