Turbo SIM iPhone unlock tool sold out
Recently we reported about TurboSIM, a Czech made tool which basically acts as conductor between your real SIM card and the iPhone, which is able to defeat the AT&T carrier lock.
The news sparked immediate interest from people wishing to unlock their iPhones (especially since $80 is an afforable price to have a contract free iPhone). So now the stocks have been depleted and the company is asking not to contact them with questions as to when new stock will be available….
In the meantime unlocked iPhones started appearing yesterday in Hong Kong for $2000 a piece (it remains to be seen whether the latter is a coincidence)… But it does look like the TurboSIM opened a door to all sorts of black market dealers that now can offer completely unlocked iPhones at highly exagerated prices in countries where the device will only legally arrive next year.
